My Thoughts
I give the Black Panther Blu-ray a B.
If you know me, you know I am more of DC fan then I am a Marvel fan (not to mention my favorite superhero is The Green Arrow). There wasn’t that excitement/wow factor that I got from Justice League with this film but there are quite a few things I did like about this film.
T’Challa. I love the fact that when he appears on screen, there’s this wisdom and calmness that follows him. Even while watching Infinity War, that was still present. He can be in the midst of battle but still have himself under control. He faces every obstacle with no fear. He is a great king to his people.
Shuri. This character (in my opinion) stole the show. She is definitely my favorite character in the film. Smart, strong, and tech-savvy. I loved her sense of humor and her relationship with her brother, T’Challa.
Okoye. I always loved Danai Gurira as Michonne in The Walking Dead but I think this film really showed us what she is capable of. All I can say is Okoye is one bad-ass warrior.
Catch Black Panther out on Blu-ray & Digital May 15th!
