Actor Bill Murray, who played Dr. Peter Venkman in the two previous Ghostbusters films, will appear in Paul Feig’s all-female Ghostbusters film, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Bill Murray has turned down a chance at a being involved in a third installment for the franchise for many years and on more occasions than one. It was said that Murray would only appear in a third Ghostbusters film if he could get killed off and be a ghost. Feig’s Ghostbusters is said to not have any connection to the popular 80’s franchise, other than the name.
The report did not specify how much of a role Murray will have in Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters film.
