Bent-Con Coming to Los Angeles!

Billed as “a comic convention…only gayer,” Bent-Con will be a two day event, which will be held at the Westin Bonaventure in Downtown Los Angeles, California on December 3rd and 4th.  Many exhibitors and guests will be at the event.  Parties, panels, and film screenings will be part of the convention atmosphere.

Bent-Con’s guest list features a bevy of industry persons who encourage and promote a friendly environment for gays.  This year’s guests include: Phil Jimenez, Patrick Fillion, Robert Fraser, Brad Rader, Brian Anderson, Charles “Zan” Christiansen, Chuck Kim, Dave Davenport, Jody Wheeler, Joe Phillips, Jon Macy, Ronnie Mena, Jane Espenson, Jeff Krell, Belasco, Michael Troy, Tim Sullivan, Trevor Kovac, JT Tepnapa, Justin Hall, Charles Pedraza, Kerry O’Quinn, Paul Ward, Brian McCulley, Sean Paul Lockhart, Sean-Z from Rated Z Studios, and the Tom of Finland Foundation.

What is BENT-CON?

BENT-CON is the convention for encouraging, celebrating and appreciating LGBT and LGBT-friendly comic-book artists, writers, creators, publishers, directors and producers, creating media targeted directly to LGBT audiences or as part of the larger realm of underground and mainstream pop-culture as a whole.

BENT-CON is committed to encouraging the vast talent and creativity within a queer and queer-friendly environment for those passionate about sharing their respective talents with YOU — the Fans — New and not-so-new to the work found at this convention.
This year’s BENT-CON is shaping up to be bigger and better than the last! It runs December 3-4th at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles, California, the heart of the media, gaming, comic and pop-culture world!  Exhibit Show Hours are: 10am – 6pm, Saturday and Sunday.

The weekend event will be filled with exhibitors, guests, panels, film-viewings and parties and attended by names you’ll recognize from various creative industries. All it needs is YOU!
