AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Runtime Revealed

AMC Theaters has unexpectedly revealed the runtime for Marvel Studios’ AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR on their main website which clocks in the runtime at 2 hours and 36 mins declaring it the longest Marvel Studios film to date. The only other longest-running Marvel Studios film is directors Joe and Anthony Russo’s Captain America threequel, CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR, which comes in at 2 hours and 27 minutes.

Marvel Studios and Iron Man himself, Robert Downey Jr., have recently announced that INFINITY WAR will open in US theaters a week earlier on April 27th. The date is the same for all other international markets which I’m guessing is a way for audiences across the globe to avoid potential spoilers being leaked online when the film actually releases in theaters worldwide. In the meantime, the Marvel Studios Twitter account released a countdown motion poster with 50 DAYS written on it seemingly implying that NFINITY WAR will open in theaters in fifty days.

AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR opens in theaters April 27th and is directed by Joe and Anthony Russo and features one of the largest casts ever assembled which includes Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Mark Ruffalo, Don Cheadle, Jeremy Renner, Chadwick Boseman, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Holland, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Benedict Wong, Paul Bettany, Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Olsen, and Josh Brolin.
