Interviewed at this year’s BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) awards in London, actress Alice Eve (Dr. Carol Marcus) commented on actor Benedict Cumberbatch’s portrayal of John Harrison in J.J. Abrams “Star Trek Into Darkness.” She flatly denied that Cumberbatch will be playing Captain Kirk’s antagonist Khan Noonien Singh. This is what she had to say:
“He’s not playing Khan.”

Based on the original Gene Roddenberry television series, “Star Trek Into Darkness” will beam its way into theaters on May 17, 2013 in 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D formats.
