Actor Bob Hoskins Has Died at the Age of 71

Sad news to report today, British actor Bob Hoskins, known for the classic cartoon/live-action movie “Who Framed Roger Rabbit,” has died at the age of 71.

Hoskins was retired from acting for the past 2 years after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.

Hoskins appeared in films such as the 90’s classic “Hook,” where he played Captain Hook’s sidekick Smee, the memorable but terrible “Super Mario Bros.” where he played Mario Mario, and his latest film was “Snow White and the Huntsman.”

If you were an 80’s or early 90’s baby, it’s most likely that one of his films were a pretty big part of your childhood.

Bob Hoskins is survived by his wife, Linda Banwell and four children.
