DC STUDIOS …. The long delayed Batman 2 script is still being written by Matt Reeves. And though the finished script is set to be turned into James Gunn sometime in June, and June is coming close to an end. Gunn isn’t worried, and is apparently taking an, ‘It will be ready when it’s ready’ attitude.
Because when asked if the script will be given to him in June. This is what James Gunn had to say.
“I hope that happens,” Gunn said. “We feel really good about it. Matt’s excited. I talk to Matt all the time. I’m totally excited about it. So we can’t wait to read the script, but we haven’t read it yet, if that’s the question.
People should get off Matt’s nuts because it’s like, let the guy write the screenplay in the amount of time he needs to write it. That’s just the way it is. He doesn’t owe you something because you like his movie. I mean, you like his movie because of Matt. So let Matt do things the way he does.” – Entertainment Weekly,
THE BATMAN 2 currently has an October 1, 2027, release date. But with no finished script yet, that release date is getting less and less likely.
