The Prosecutor 4K UHD Review: Habeas 4Korpus

Don’t worry about Donnie Yen playing a lawyer. He still has to kick a lot of people. This vehicle got a theatrical release in January but now it’s available at home, including 4K.

Beyond Hollywood movies, DVD was a revelation for seeing them uncropped and being able to read the subtitles. Then Blu-ray made them look better than the original prints. Post 2000 Hong Kong movies are more comparable to Hollywood mainly because they went digital at the same time.

Now watching a 2024 Hong Kong movie in 4K is beyond most current Hollywood productions. And you still get to see all the kicking through those 4K frames. The night is neon green on the streets or blue in the subway.

Surround sound puts major action sounds like gunshots and hits all around you. Subways whiz by each other and the lights flicker from the front to behind you.

No bonus features are included but the kicking is pretty self-explanatory.
