According to Variety: 20th Century Studios, which is owned by Disney, is releasing three different clips from Avatar: Fire and Ash during the theatrical re-release of Avatar: The Way of Water.
HOWEVER, the audience won’t be able to watch all the clips at once. To offer a “unique viewing experience”, each screening will only play one of the three clips. So fans who want to watch all three sneak peek clips will have to pay to see the film multiple times.
And I wonder… Will they at least tell you which clip is showing with which screening. Or, do they expect you to just roll the dice and hope you don’t pay multiple times and get the same clip over and over again. YEOW! Both Avatar and Avatar 2 have already made over $2 Billion each! And the first Avatar almost made $3 billion… Haven’t fans already paid enough? This is madness!
“AVATAR; THE WAY OF WATER” will return to theaters for one week, beginning October 3rd.
