In the game that this sequel film is named after, Super Mario Galaxy sees Mario traveling across the stars, as he tries once again to save Princess Peach and, this time, the universe, from Bowser. While it’s unclear if the movie will follow the exact story of the game, the game saw Mario traveling from planet to planet, all with different locations, characters, and terrains.
