THE 53rd ANNUAL SATURN AWARDS…
“Superman” has received 8 Saturn Awards nominations. With James Gunn getting a nomination for best director.

The Saturn Awards, which celebrate the best in science fiction, fantasy, and horror entertainment, will be presented live on Sunday, March 8, from the Hilton Los Angeles/Universal City, with Joel McHale returning as host.
James Gunn’s 2025 film earned recognition in several key areas, including Best Cinematic Adaptation Film, where it will compete against fellow superhero entries “Captain America: Brave New World”, “The Fantastic Four: First Steps”, and “Thunderbolts”.

David Corenswet received a Best Actor nomination for his portrayal of the Man of Steel, while Rachel Brosnahan earned a Best Actress nod for her role as Lois Lane. The film’s supporting cast was also recognized, with Edi Gathegi securing a Best Supporting Actor nomination for his take on Mr. Terrific.

“Superman” also garnered technical nominations for Best Film Visual/Special Effects, Best Film Production Design, and Best Film Costume Design, highlighting the production’s ambitious scope and attention to detail.
