If you are fans of “The Three Stooges,” or just like to laugh, 20th Century Fox, and the Farrelly brothers are bringing the Stooges comedy to the big screen next year and have announced the release date.  “The Three Stooges” will make its debut on Wednesday, April 4th at a theater near you.

The plot will be broken up into three half-hour segments, which will revolve around the characters Moe, Larry, and Curly attempting to save their childhood home.  In the process, they accidentally become involved in a murder plot and, later star in their own reality TV series.

“The Three Stooges” is currently in post-production and will hit theaters on April 4th, 2012.  Will Sasso, Sean Hayes, and Chris Diamantopoulos will star along with Jane Lynch, Jennifer Hudson, Larry David, Stephen Collins, Craig Bierko, and Carly Craig.  Mike Cerrone, Bobby Farrelly, and Peter Farrelly wrote the script.  Bobby and Peter Farrelly direct.
