“The Hangover 3” May Start Shooting in September!

Namtar here…

Voted as People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive of 2011, actor Bradley Cooper recently appeared on BBC 1’s Graham Norton Show to promote the UK’s DVD/Blu-Ray release of “The Hangover II.”  During the course of the interview, he revealed some interesting tidbits about “The Hangover Part III.”

Here is part of the interview.

Graham Norton: I’m sensing “Hangover 3” won’t be that far away.

Bradley Cooper: I personally want to do it. Yeah, I hope we’re gonna start shooting in September. I know that Todd Phillips is working on the script, so…

Norton: Five hundred and eighty-one million dollars [box office for Part 2.] I imagine someone will make that. Even if it’s half as successful, it’s worth doing…

Cooper: No, no, you’re right.

Norton: So, you don’t know…?

Cooper: – what it’s going to be about?

Norton: Well, obviously it’s going to be about a hangover.

Cooper: I don’t know actually. I think that we adhered to the formula in the second one, for those who’ve seen it, and the third one, I think, which would close the whole trilogy… I think it’ll take place in Los Angeles and maybe not adhere to the structure. It might be different.

Norton: You tease us!

Cooper: Yes.

Currently in development, “The Hangover Part III” is tentatively scheduled to begin production sometime in September of 2012. Likely stars will be Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zac Galifianakis, Mike Tyson, and Ken Jeong.  Craig Mazin and Todd Phillips are currently writing the screenplay, which is based on characters and situations created by Jon Lucas, and Scott Moore. Todd Phillips will direct.
