We are just under two months away from the release of Mega Man 11 and up until now the only way to have played the demo, was to have attended either E3 or San Diego Comic-Con.

Luckily, it’s been revealed that the same demo playable at both events is heading to the Xbox One on September 4th. The Mega Man 11 Demo will let players, “take on all kinds of enemies and traps in the Block Man stage” and “use the new Double Gear system to slow down time or power up your shots and take down that boss.”

It’s been a long wait for a new entry in the Mega Man series following the release of Mega Man 10 back in 2010. Just from what we’ve played it looks like the wait is well worth it. You can read our impressions of the demo here.

Currently, there is no word on whether the demo will be release on other systems. Until then you can replay all 10 original Mega Man games via the Mega Man Legacy Collection on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.

Mega Man 11 will be released on October 2nd for the the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
