WWE Studios have teamed up with the demon. No, I’m not talking about the Undertaker or Kane but another demon, Gene Simmons from the legendary rock band, Kiss, to launch a horror label called Erebus. Together, they will finance and produce horror films. They will start with a film written by Matt Savelloni called Temple.
Gene Simmons commented on the new partnership saying:
The horror genre continues to fascinate me as it proves to be endlessly thrilling and engaging for audiences. I am so thrilled to be working with the masterminds from WWE Studios in launching Erebus Pictures.
On the other side of the partnership, WWE Studios President Michael Luisi said:
Horror films fall into a genre that thrives on genuine passion, and I believe this partnership truly capitalizes on that sentiment and supports our vision.
Here is the synopsis for Erebus’ first project, Temple:
Temple follows a team of highly trained operatives who find themselves trapped inside an isolated military compound after its artificial intelligence is suddenly shut down. They begin to experience strange and horrific phenomena as they attempt to uncover who or what killed the team previously stationed at the compound.
