Shantae 5 is coming! Developer WayForward posted on Twitter earlier today that it is planning on bringing the next game in the series out later this year to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC and Apple’s new Apple Arcade subscription service.
Shantae: Half-Genie Hero was the last game released in series back in 2016, the game was originally launched as a Kickstarter in 2013 and would go on to raise over $900,000.

If you haven’t played Shantae: Half-Genie Hero yet you definitely should, you should actually try out all the previous games. All of them except for the insanely expensive Gameboy game are available digitally on various systems.
