Full disclosure, I have seen the Broadway show three times, and I love it. So when I say this trailer looks amazing and epic, take that into consideration. The visuals look stunning, and the story appears to be intact. BUT….
Big But here: They are splitting the story into two parts. Oh, they don’t let you know in the trailer, but the truth is; that we only get half of the story this Thanksgiving, as WICKED PART ONE. And WICKED PART TWO comes out Thanksgiving 2025!
UNIVERSAL is just playing it tricky, as their own Publicity and marketing witches are only delivering half a movie this year. And trying to hide that fact. Now that really gets my goat… And if you ask me, which nobody did; in my opinion, somebody needs to drop a house on whoever made that decision. Because it feels like a money grab.
