Earlier this month, we were invited to get an early look at Toy Story 4. It was my first time at Pixar Animation Studios and as a longtime fan of their work, it was like a dream come true.
While there we had a chance to watch the first 15 minutes of the film as well as a few clips from later on in the movie, talk with the various teams behind different aspects of the film, sit down with Director Josh Cooley and Producer Mark Nielsen.
Not only that but we got a tour of the Pixar Vault which is filled with so many amazing things including a bust of Woody and Bo Peep from the first film. Honestly, words can’t describe just how happy I felt looking back at a few original sketches, trophies and everything inside. We were also shown a pair of sneakers that were attached to a plank as the animators tried to get the movement of the plastic soldiers which I thought was both cool and hilarious.
Make sure to also check out our previous articles including our impressions of the first 15 minutes of the film, the return of Bo Peep, and the roundtable interview with Director Josh Cooley and Producer Mark Nielsen.
