TOMORROWLAND is the latest in a long list of amazing movies that share their vision with the hugely popular Disney Resort attractions found all over the world. Some of these films were inspired by existing Disney Resort attractions, and some of the attractions were born out of the amazing classic films! Here are some of the greatest Disney movies with their theme park attraction companions!
TOMORROWLAND (2015)
This science-fiction mystery adventure film starring George Clooney shares its name and vision with the futuristic themed land found at Disney theme parks.

ALICE IN WONDERLAND (1951)
Mad Tea Party is a spinning tea cup ride at all five Disneyland-style theme parks around the world. The ride theme is inspired by the Unbirthday Party scene in this animated classic.
THE JUNGLE BOOK (1967)
The Jungle Cruise is a popular attraction located in Adventureland at many Disney Parks and features many of the creatures and critters from this Disney animated film.

RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK (1981)
Harrison Ford stars as archaeologist Indiana Jones in this classic blockbuster which was the inspiration for the Indiana Jones Adventure attractions at Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea.

WHO FRAMED ROGER RABBIT? (1988)
Mickey’s Toowntown was inspired by the supposedly real-world location of “Toontown” from this hysterical animated/live action hybrid in which cartoon characters live apart from humans.

TOY STORY (1995)
Buzz Lightyear was the inspiration for a generation of children, and also the hugely popular Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters attraction at Disneyland, which opened in the Anaheim park in 2005.

THE COUNTRY BEARS (2002)
The Country Bear Jamboree still operates at the Walt Disney World Resort and Tokyo Disneyland, but closed at Disneyland in 2001 one year before this charming family musical was released.

HAUNTED MANSION (2003)
This family comedy starring Eddie Murphy is based on the popular Disneyland attraction that opened in 1969.

PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: THE CURSE OF THE BLACK PEARL (2003)
The first film in this blockbuster franchise was inspired by the slow boat ride that has been enchanting visitors to Disneyland since 1967.
