Special Events and Experiences
In-Person Celebrations
Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood is hosting a special one-hour guided tour focused on Superman and the DC Universe, culminating in a screening of the classic 1978 “Superman: The Movie” starring Christopher Reeve on the iconic WB backlot. TCM host Ben Mankiewicz and Jim Lee will introduce the film. The Studio Store will also showcase DC comic book art with special artist appearances, and any DC merchandise purchase includes a free special edition comic book (while supplies last).

Virtual Experiences
DC Superpowered Storytellers, an educational initiative, launches on Superman Day to help middle school students develop storytelling skills through comic book-inspired activities. The program includes a virtual field trip to DC headquarters and Warner Bros. Studios, providing young fans unique insights into the world of DC’s Super Heroes.
Comic Books
Special Superman Day editions will be available at participating comic book shops and bookstores, including free copies of “All Star Superman #1 Superman Day Special Edition” and “Superman For All Seasons #1 Superman Day Special Edition.” Fans can also get a free excerpt of the upcoming middle-grade graphic novel “Jimmy Olsen’s SuperCyclopedia.”
Additionally, new Superman Day deluxe hardcover editions of “All-Star Superman” (featuring a new dust jacket with Frank Quitely art) and “Superman Unchained” (with Jim Lee art) will be available at participating retailers.

A dedicated Superman Day episode of “DC Studios Showcase: The Official Podcast” will air on April 18, featuring hosts Frankey Smith, Tyler Coates, and Coy Jandreau discussing Superman’s significance and historical impact.
Max will celebrate with DC Hub takeovers, themed content rails, and featured Superman content, including “Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story,” classic Superman films, and animated series.
