For any fan of Doctor Who you know its only a matter of time before the Time Lord you fell in love with changes yet again. This time its Jodie Whittaker’s Doctor, our first female reincarnation. Her time has come as well showrunner Chris Chibnall.
At the end of this era we can expect all our favorite villians-The Master, the Daleks, and the Cybermen as well as seeing some old companions Tegan & Ace. This final episode of Whittaker’s will be epic.
Each regeneration is an event that brings tears of joy and sadness but with this goodbye we say hello to new adventures, new stories, and a fresh new Doctor, Ncuti Gatwa and previous showrunner Russel T. Davies. Whittaker even says of Gatwa, “It’s inspired casting. He’s gonna smash it.”
From one Whovian to the next here’s to The Doctor and to new beginnings. And to quote one of my favorites, “I’ll be a story in your head. But that’s OK: We’re all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh.”
