A card game based on the popular The Binding of Isaac video game created by Edmund McMillen saw a huge reception of support to its crowd-funding campaign through KickStarter recently.
The KickStarter campaign was an unprecedented success, hitting its initial target of $50,000 in its first 75 minutes. The final tally for the project, which closed last night, saw a whopping $2,650,780 raised by 38,334 backers.
This multiplayer card game has the players fighting against an array of monsters and the characters each have their own abilities which can be used to hinder the progress of other players by dealing out a number of cards containing everything from curses to giga-bosses. The first player who manages to gain four souls ultimately wins the game.
The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth is available now for PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch, while The Binding of Isacc: Four Souls is due for to be shipped across the world in November.
