”SUPERMAN: LEGACY”- NICHOLAS HOULT IN TALKS TO PLAY LEX LUTHOR

DC STUDIOS: Nicholas Hoult auditioned to be The Batman, then Superman, but just got offered the Super-villain role of Lex Luthor.  This ‘beast’ of an actor was an X-Man, and another bald dude in Mad Max. No deal is done, but talks have been in the works since before the strike.

James Gunn is writing and directing Superman: Legacy, the first feature from his and Peter Safran’s new DC Studios universe. David Corenswet will play Clark Kent/ Superman, while Rachel Brosnahan is playing Lois Lane, with the duo landing the roles in June.
