imageAs we all know a new Spider-Man reboot is upon us with Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures and we also know that the first time we will meet Spider-Man is in Captain America: Civil War, then he gets his own standalone film in 2017. In addition to that we know that Tom Holland will take up the mantle as Spider-Man and also Cop Car director John Watts will helm the stand alone film.

In a interview with Empire Magazine, Watts spoke briefly about avoiding the origin story of Spider-Man which we’ve seen already countless times, but he ended up giving Away Peter Parker’s age in the interview.

“There are only so many times you can kill Uncle Ben… I love the idea of making a coming-of-age high-school movie. We’re really going to see Peter Parker in high school and get deeper into that side of it. He’s just 15 now.”
