Seems like all the details we get from the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog live-action film are leaks. A few months ago, the first official look of the live-action movie was revealed featuring a silhouette of Sonic. Not long after, leaks gave us the actual look of how Sonic looks in the live-action setting, for better or worse. With a few months away from release, nothing else has been shown except a sneak peak at Cinema-Con. Earlier today, and image was floating around Twitter that revealed Dr. Robotnik portrayed by Jim Carrey.

Many sites and people who have attended CinemaCon and were present during the sneak peak confirm that that is Jim Carrey’s Dr. Robotnik from the film. Seeing as the movie is in a live-action setting, it would make sense that Dr. Robotnik looks more human than cartoon. Stories have been swirling that his appearance in the film slowly resembles his video game counterpart as it progresses. Could be a descent from genius to evil genius. Time will tell, and if the rumor holds true, we’ll get our first glance at the film with the trailer releasing tomorrow.
