Today IGN revealed the First Look at the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog live-action movie releasing next year. This tease came in the form of a motion poster that showed the Blue Blur running faster than the speed of sound, collecting rings, and stopping to make the final frame and look of the poster.

Sonic definitely didn’t skip leg day. Produced by Deadpool director Tim Miller and directed by Jeff Fowler, this film will bring Sonic the Hedgehog into live-action. The titular hedgehog is voiced by Ben Schwartz, and is co-starred by James Marsden and Jim Carrey, the latter of which is playing the evil Dr. Robotnik! The movie is slated for release on November 8, 2019 in the United States.
