Earlier this year, we were treated to the first full look of the Sonic The Hedgehog Movie. And suffice to say, fans were displeased with the look of the blue blur.

However, to many fans delight, it was announced that they would be remodeling Sonic for the film in order to gives fans the look they would be more happy with.

Still this worried many, as this undoes a lot of work already done on the film, and produces an enormous load upon the visual effects team. Inspiring more crunch time upon the artists.

Well, it seems that concern has also been addressed. Early this morning Director of the film, Jeff Fowler had this to say on Twitter.

The date of valentine’s day may very well be a “love letter” to fans, and artist working on the movie. The delay is nothing but surprising, yet also very welcome.
