Ridley Scott’s 1979 sc-fi/horror film Alien is probably one of the scariest films ever, but the most recent installments of the franchise, Alien vs Predator and AvP: Requiem didn’t do so well. One person who dislikes the films is Alien actress herself Sigourney Weaver, who blames the films that the films are the reason she dies in Alien 3.
While talking to Radio a Times at the London Film and Comic Con, she had this to say about the reason of her death.
“Well, yes, because I heard that Fox was gonna do Alien vs. Predator. Which really depressed me because I was very proud of the movies.”
While she wasn’t pumped for the films she is interested in Neil Blomkamp‘s upcoming Alien movie. Here’s what she had to say about the film.
“He broke the tapes of these movies when he was a kid, he watched them so much. I love the fact that’s Neill’s fulfilling his childhood dream of what he hopes will be the popcorn movie, the Alien popcorn movie that he wanted as a kid to see.”
