Today, during the PlayStation LineUp Tour at Tokyo Game Show, a new trailer for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice was shown.
The trailer starts off with the game’s protagonist lying lifelessly on the floor. It then transitions quickly into gameplay showing off the traversal mechanics like the wall jump and the grapple hook.
Further into the trailer there is some combat, which deviates from the systems we are used to seeing in From Software’s previous titles in the Souls‘ series. Instead of using stamina to dodge enemy attacks, a new mechanic known as posturing is introduced. You will choose a stance and try to disrupt your opponent’s posture in order to land a killing blow.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice was teased during the Game Awards last year and will launch for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on March 22, 2019.
