My Thoughts:

I give Rage Of Bahamut: Genesis Essentials Blu-Ray an A.

Continuing with their line of anime essentials, Funimation brings us one of the better animes of 2014 and that is Rage Of Bahamut: Genesis.

Based on the mobile collectible card game, Bahamut follows Favaro Leone as he helps a one winged key to the end of the world named Amira to prevent the return of the ancient dragon Bahamut.

The art and cinematography by MAPPA for this anime is out of this world and it’s no surprise. MAPPA has been known to make stellar animation if you look at their resume. Some of their work includes Terror in Resonance, Yuri!!! on Ice, Punch Line, and Zombieland Saga.

As much as game adaptions of media have a sort of stigma at first glance, Rage of Bahamut: Genesis shatters all expectations I had in beautiful fashion making this one of the better adventures that I have had the joy to watch. This is definitely a Blu-Ray that I will recommend to friends with similar tastes.

Rage of Bahamut: Genesis Essentials Blu-Ray is available on Funimations official site.
