News about “Jurassic Park IV” from producer Frank Marshall perked up our ears. In a recent interview with an Internet news website about another “Jurassic Park” film, Marshall said, “I would say that it will be on the screen within two years.”
At last year’s San Diego Comic-Con, director Steven Spielberg was the one delivering the update. And just last month, “Rise of the Planet of the Apes” writers Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver were brought in to write the script. “Jurassic Park IV’s” IMDb page lists Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, and Sir Richard Attenborough as being attached to this long awaited fourth film in the franchise, but the casting choices are still up in the air at this time. Can anyone believe it’s been 12 years since the last movie?
Maybe audiences can finally see John Hammond being attacked and consumed by a pack of ‘compys’ like he was supposed to be in Michael Crichton’s initial “Jurassic Park” novel.
