Developer Cardboard Robot Games took to the game’s KickStarter page to reveal that development on the Nintendo Switch port of Pocket Rumble is done and that it will be released by the end of July. Everyone who backed Pocket Rumble during its initial KickStarter campaign will receive the Nintendo Switch version for free.

A new developer update video, which can be seen below, reveals that the developers at Cardboard Robot Games ran into trouble with the game’s net-code. Since the developers are a small team with day jobs, fixing the issues took more time than expected.

Once the Switch version of Pocket Rumble launches, the developers will be shifting focus to the PC version, adding new content and bosses specifically for that version. Once these updates are released and it leaves Early Access on PC, this additional content will come to the Switch version with a 2.0 update.

Pocket Rumble is currently available on PC with Early Access, and will hit Nintendo Switch sometime before the end of July.
