In this 5th installment of the Paranormal Activity franchise, we return to the former house of Katie and Kristi. A new family moves into the house and discovers a camera that reveals the presence of evil that begins to terrorize their lives. With their young daughter in danger, they must fight against this evil before they become victims themselves.

Final Thoughts

I absolutely loved the little girl in this film. The young actress Ivy George, who portrayed Leila did an incredible job. I’ve always loved how movies or even books would take innocent things and make them evil. This is definitely one of my favorite aspects of horror. She alone made my skin crawl. I’m not one to jump or get startled while watching horror films but, this one made me jump a few times. I loved how they filmed this movie using POV type filming (shaky cam). Something about the camera movements made me want to hide underneath the covers. It was the not knowing what was coming next that made this film scary. Definitely a must see for any horror fan. Find out for yourself when Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension comes out on DVD/Blu-Ray on January 12th.
