It’s been 17 years now since the release of Capcom’s Onimusha: Warlords and it’s a shame that the series has been silent since 2006 following the release of Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams. While we still hold out hope that a new entry in the series will finally be released, Capcom will be releasing a Remastered version of Onimusha: Warlords on January 15, 2019 on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Onimusha: Warlords run you $20 and will include updated features including high-definition graphics, widescreen display option, analog stick support, a readily available Easy Mode option, and a new soundtrack according to Capcom.

It’s interesting that Capcom will release the game 10 days before the release of the Resident Evil 2 Remake but it’s a nice way to start off 2019 with two great Capcom releases from the past.
