It was only a matter of time but we knew it was coming, a new trademark by Nintendo reveals that the company is planning on releasing a Nintendo 64 Classic system in the near future. Right now, you can find the SNES Classic in retail stores and starting next week, Nintendo will be re-releasing the NES Classic, which was one of the most sought after things back in 2016.

It was last year, Nintendo filed a trademark over the N64 Controller and this new trademark (which was translated by website Japanese Nintendo) covers all aspects of the N64 from the games, to the controller, the N64’s Joystick and course the system itself.

This could mean Nintendo might be planning on officially announcing the N64 Classic Soon. With E3 right around the corner, it would honestly be a great time.

What games would you like to see released on the N64 Classic?
