R.I.P. to a very good show! Despite fans desperately hoping for a season 2, Variety reported that the Neil Gaiman adaptation wouldn’t be returning for season two, due to unimpressive viewing figures. The show was originally made for MAX, and then sold to NETFLIX. And I wonder if that had anything to do with it.
What a gut punch! I really like this show and was looking forward to what season two had to offer. This should not be a one and done. But Alas, it is. At least we have Sandman season two in the works. But I’m not very happy with you right now Netflix… This is not cool.
