Naughty Dog’s Neil Druckmann, the director of The Last of Us Part II, began teasing the game’s upcoming appearance via Twitter. “T-minus 3 weeks,” stated Druckmann matter of factly. This was in reference to being exactly three weeks away from Sony’s showcase during E3. With the tweet, he included the now famous image of the Firefly logo spray painted on a stop sign from the original reveal trailer of The Last of Us Part II.
It’s clear that Druckmann is eager to finally show more of what he and the team at Naughty Dog have been working on the past few years. Even though E3 is often seen as an event where fans get crazy about all of the upcoming releases, it’s often just as exciting for developers who at long last get to show off their projects.
