With Devil May Cry 5 and Mega Man 11 coming soon, here lies an opportunity for Capcom to cross-pollinate some franchises. Enter the Mega Buster, revealed at Tokyo Game Show 2018 as a deluxe edition bonus for DMC5.

It’s a fun, wacky, and referential way for Capcom to show off their part of gaming history. I often forget the sheer range of IPs at Capcom’s disposal. Devil May Cry, Mega Man, Monster Hunter, Resident Evil, Ace Attorney, even four Zelda titles. This company created some of the most celebrated games in gaming history.

As part of a new trailer, Devil May Cry 5 is introducing a third playable character, “V”. V is one of Dante’s “clients”, though we’ll most likely learn more about this later.  We also got new looks at Trish, Lady, and a new motorcycle/weapon for Dante.
