It feels as though it’s been forever since we’ve heard news of the announced remake for the Playstation classic title MediEvil. It was back in December that we were greeted with Sir Dan singing Hallelujah by Handel before stating that “more details” were coming soon and since then, silence. During a recent episode of the Playstation Blogcast it was revealed that Shawn Layden, CEO of Sony Interactive America, will be a guest and will have more insight on the game.

Meanwhile in another corner of news Jay Penn, who was originally the Lead Art Designer for the original games as well as the voice for Sir Daniel Fortesque, recently deleted a tweet that featured himself in a bucket with the caption “The things I do to prepare for some jobs” leading fans to believe that he will indeed reprise is role in the remake as it was revealed long ago that the voice of Sir Dan was made by placing a bucket on your head.

The length in time between updates is certainly one of the longest we’ve seen in quite some time so any form of update sounds good.

MediEvil will be released on Playstation 4, no other details have been revealed yet.
