Announced back in July, Arc System Works revealed that they were working on a canonical continuation of the hit anime series Kill La Kill by Studio Trigger. In fact, the game is being supervised by the original scenario writer, Kazuki Nakashima.
A new trailer from Arc System Works explains the premise of the game as well as shows off preorder bonuses and special editions for Japanese fans.
The official site has been updated to include that Kill La Kill: IF will indeed release on July 26th in the United States and Europe.
A description of the game on the official site reads:
You control Satsuki Kiryuin as the main
protagonist of this game, and proceed
along with the story while battling against
various characters. All scenarios are
completely new and fully
supervised under the watchful eyes of
the original scenario-writer,
Kazuki Nakashima. You will be experiencing
the story unfold from the perspective of
Satsuki Kiryuin, the rival of the original
series’ protagonist Ryuko.
There will be two DLC characters coming this summer including fan favorite Mako Mankanshoku and the Ultimate Double Naked DTR.
Kill La Kill: IF will be released on July 26th on Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
