Over the weekend I had the chance to meet and speak to Rob Liefeld (Creator of Deadpool) at the Frank And Son Collectible Show and he gave me an interesting tidbit about the ‘Green Lantern’ movie.

According to Rob Liefeld, he has seen most of the storyboards for the ‘Green Lantern’ film and he claims that it looks amazing.   He said that if they could translate what is on the storyboards to film, the movie would be amazing.  Over one-third of the movie is set on OA, the home world of the Green Lanterns.  The film will have numerous Green Lanterns, including fan favorite Kilowag and Hal Jordan (Ryan Reynolds) mentor turned archenemy, Sinestro.

On the subject of his own character Deadpool and his appearance in the movie “X-Men Origins: Wolverine,” Liefeld says that he liked the characters appearance at the beginning of the movie, but hated the way the he ended up at the end.  He especially hated the addition of the adamantium swords that came out of his arms.  Liefeld also added that the best Ryan Reynolds’ “Deadpool” was actually his performance as Hannibal King in the third “Blade” movie, “Blade Trinity.”

... I was at the event and he said that one 1/3 of the film will set in OA and heard him! He also said he know the FX guys and they showed him!!!
