LANTERNS is the upcoming Green Lantern TV show from DC Studios and HBO, and they just dropped a first look at AARON PIERRE and KYLE CHANDLER as DC Green Lanterns, John Stewart and Hal Jordan.
They are NOT dressed up in their Green Lantern uniforms, but if you look closely you can see a green ring on Chandler’s finger. Though you can’t really tell if Pierre is wearing one as well…Otherwise, the two are in their civilian clothes and walking down a deserted highway.
Per the official logline, the series follows “new recruit John Stewart and Lantern legend Hal Jordan, two intergalactic cops drawn into a dark, earth-based mystery as they investigate a murder in the American heartland.”
