According to Deadline, Hail, Caesar! actor Alden Ehrenreich is now the front-runner to play a young Han Solo in a standalone Star Wars movie.  Screen tests for the part included other actors such a Taron Egerton and Jack Reynor.

Ehrenreich, who’s 26 years old, will be playing the lead actor in Warren Beatty’s next film set to be released by Fox later this year. The Star Wars Han Solo film is set to open in theaters on May 25th, 2018 and will be directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller.

Personally, I think Ehrenreich has the perfect look and smiles resembling a young Harrison Ford in the original Star Wars movies.

So what do you think? Would this be good casting? Let us know in comments below.
