This years game lineup for EVO 2020 has been announced and with it came a lot of buzz after it was revealed that Mortal Kombat 11 and BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle will be sitting it out this year.
The announcement was made via a reveal stream and afterwards viaTwitter where fans have been showing praise/concern for the choice(I personally love seeing the opinions/memes of the fgc every year).

EVO 2019 was also headlined by Super Smash Bros. Ultimate where MKLeo emerged victorious after a very chaotic and exciting top 8. Last years EVO at it’s peak pulled in 182,000 concurrent viewers during it’s weekend.
This years lineup is as follows:
- Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
- Samurai Shodown
- Tekken 7
- Street Fighter V
- Dragon Ball FighterZ

What’s more interesting is that this years EVO will host a special 8 player invitational tournament for Marvel Vs Capcom 2 to celebrate the games 20th anniversary. Players have not been announced yet although the feedback from EVO fans have been generally positive.
