Doctor Who premieres on April 12 on Disney+ and BBC… The new eight-episode season sees the return of Ncuti Gatwa as The Doctor and Millie Gibson as his companion, Ruby Sunday. It will also see the debut of Varada Sethu, who will play a new Doctor’s companion, Belinda Chandra.
Also, Alan Cumming will be making his long-awaited return to the long-running British sci-fi series. Cumming will voice Mr Ring-a-Ding in the upcoming season’s second episode. Mr. Ring-a-Ding is a cartoon character who lives in Sunny Town with his good-time buddy, Sunshine Sally. Set in 1952, Mr. Ring-a-ding, tired of repeats in movie theaters, “suddenly looks beyond the screen and sees the real world outside…and the consequences are terrifying.”
