Ramsey shot on saturated 35mm film so it looks like a movie. Only Ramsey kept the Academy ratio so it’s not artificially cropped like a lot of Hollywood films. Lawrence’s self harm sounds really stand out in a clean frame.

The oppressive chirping ambiance of the isolated forest house is ever-present in surround sound.
