After what has felt like an eternity (7 years to be precise), Blizzard has finally revealed Diablo IV at BlizzCon 2019 along with two trailers.
Diablo IV is set many years after the events of Diablo III, after millions have been slaughtered by the actions of the High Heavens and Burning Hells alike. Diablo IV director Luis Barriga revealed on stage that Blizzard aims to recreate the series’ “dark roots” something that fan felt lacking in the previous Diablo game.
Blizzard has also released a gameplay trailer showing the game in action with the first three class announcements: the Barbarian, the Sorceress, and the Druid.
While no date was released for Diablo IV, it will be coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (We wouldn’t be too surprised it it also gets released for the PS5 and Xbox Scarlett).
