DC STUDIOS FINDS THEIR “SUPERGIRL”

DC STUDIOS: look up in the sky, it’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s s House of the Dragon actress MILLY ALCOCK!

Alcock has landed the highly coveted role of SUPERGIRL in James Gunn and Peter Safran’s new DC Universe.

Australian actress Milly Alcock played the young Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen in HBO’s first season of Game of Thrones spinoff House of the Dragon.

Supergirl will most likely appear in the upcoming film SUPERMAN: LEGACY, in some capacity. But will then fly off into her own film, based on the comic book series, SUPERGIRL: WOMAN OF TOMORROW…

“We see the difference between Superman, who was sent to Earth and raised by loving parents from the time he was an infant, versus Supergirl, who was raised on a rock, a chip off Krypton and watched everyone around her die and be killed in terrible ways for the first 14 years of her life, and then came to Earth when she was a young girl,” said James Gunn last year of the project. “She’s much more hardcore; she’s not exactly the Supergirl we’re used to seeing.”
