imageAs we know by now, a live action remake of the 1988 anime Akira has been going around Hollywood for over a decade, and different directors, actors, writers, have come and gone on the project but now it looks like Warner Bros. isn’t giving up without a fight, and a new rumor is that they want Christopher Nolan to direct the film that might turn into a possible trilogy.

This all according to Den of Geek that claim that someone “close to Warner Bros” has given the, the information. We all know Nolan for his work on a The Dark Knight Trilogy and he would be an interesting choice for the franchise. Could this be his next untitled film he has on July 21, 2017, since after all Akira is scheduled to be released in two years.
