It looks like no game is safe from being delayed including an extremely anticipated game like Cyberpunk 2077. Originally set to release on April 16, 2020 the open-world adventure has been pushed back five months to September 17, 2020.
The delay was announced via Twitter by CD Projekt Red Co-Founder Marcin Iwinski and Head of Studio Adam Badowski:

I’m always for developers giving a game more time to make final adjustments and changes so I the game can be fantastic right at launch and not make us wait for patches to fix any issues at a later time.
Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
